A blook is a book based on a blog (short for "weblog", a chronological web publishing format).  Carbondale After Blog is based on the Carbondaley Dispatch blog, published from 2002 to the present.

A blook can be published in print or electronically.

Carbondale After Blog is a multi-media publication in print and electronic formats. Only the first page of each chapter will be printed in the paper edition, but a compact disc containing the complete text (thousands of words) of every chapter, plus hundreds of color images, audio and video files in addition to links to web-based content.

Software needed to read the e-book (TK3 Reader) will also included on the CD.

The e-blook format increases the novelty, readability, and accessibility of information, while simultaneously reducing printing costs (and cover price) of the finished product.
