Jobs well done
Thanks to Southern Illinoisan webmaster Lauren Olson for making SI's links more "blog friendly" by having them stay active for a week before archiving, and including the story headline in the title of the page . . . such as this one about Green Party candidate for Governor, Rich Whitney, which states: Whitney submits petitions, awaits decision, and makes "a formal insistence" to be included in the upcoming gubernatorial debate in Marion.
According to reporter Nicole Sack, "Mike Lawrence, director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute, which is hosting the upcoming debate, said there may need to be a threshold of support established before the debate guest list is compiled."
Mr. Lawrence can consider this sentence as a show of support for Whitney.
