Russians, En Pointe; Indiana State, 63 points

I saw my first ballet tonight, Bloggy: The Russian National Ballet performing Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty at Shryock Auditorium. Man, they really do dance on their toes, moving around like hummingbirds, and leaping like crouching tigers. Luckily I had my Muvo MP3 player with me, so as Dimitry Dmitriev was soaring high in the air, I could hear Magic 95.1-FM sportscaster Mike Reis describe Randal Falker pulling down one of his 10-rebounds in a losing effort vs. Indiana State.

Losing effort? That's right: the Salukis' record-setting home winning streak was ended by a team that had lost 11 games in a row -- by the convincing score of 63-54. No one else in the ballet crowd knew the score, and Dimitry and company were given a standing O at the end of the performance.
