Groundblog Day

Some days are busier than others, aren't they, Bloggy? Yesterday, I stuck my head out of the office for many scheduled (and accidental) meetings -- more than you can click a mouse at -- starting with Russ Ward, Victor Degraff, Sue Mills, Elaine Ramseyer, Kevin Clark, Jay Needham, Rob Newman, Tom Grant, Brad Cole, Beth Ponce, Jeff Doherty, Janice Hampton, Don Monty, Janet Vaught, Janet Althoff, Barrett Rochman, Kara Hertzing, Patrick Barnes.

Who are these people? What did we talk about? Why isn't everyone's name linked? The answer to the first is answered by the link -- but not everyone has a unique presence on the world wide web. Sure, you can hunt down the City Manager's phone number, or the City Clerk's email address on the City's staff page, but try sending an email to the president of the Historic Town Square Coalition!

The answer to the second questioon will be revealed in my blook, in the chapter "Groundhog Day" -- which reminds me: Yesterday was Tom "Groundhog" Grant's birthday and I forgot to wish him a happy one (but opened two doors for him as he headed toward meetings of his own). Care to send the Building & Neighborhood Services Manager a belated birthday wish? Go for it!
