Some local school district administrators will make do with less money from the State of Illinois this year. Not Carbondale Community Middle and High Schools, though, as Kristen Cates relates. Meanwhile, WSIL-TV3 reports that some Carbondale schools, like CCHS, did not make adequate yearly progress on its Interactive Illinois Report Card. Despite the funding shortfall, CCHS hired 8 new teachers this year, (under the blondefirmative action program?).
