Lower prices for six-packs?

This Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 103, in the Civic Center, the Liquor Advisory Board will consider a Class C liquor license for the Wal-Mart Supercenter, permitting the sale of beer and wine, which it will probably get. Now if they could just come up with a Sam Adams-style "Sam's Choice" beer that sells for 3.99 per six pack.

Just lay low on where you got that six pack when you have friends from the Peace Coalition over, and you'll be just fine. :P

Maybe Dollar General could get a liquor license too, and K-Mart, and Big Lots. While they're at it, it would be nice to be able to buy beer or wine at the grocery stores (and organic ale at the Co-op for this blog's Peace Coalition friends).
