Highways 13 and 127 Revisited

"The Illinois Route 13/127 Pinckneyville Area Citizens Advisory Council has scheduled a working session from 3-9 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church of Pinckneyville to review the ... information it has gathered, and compare the five proposed route alternatives for a new four-lane highway. The "no build" alternative will be on the table, along with the previously announced plan preferred by Illinois Department of Transportation -- a Locust/Walnut Street couple through downtown Pinckneyville. Other alternatives include the near and far east routes, the near and far west routes, and a downtown five-lane Main Street routing," reports Christi Mathis in The Southern.
