Gifts to die for?

Carbondale's famous "pretentious house" on Main St., Hundley House is not the stodgy old place it used to be when former Mayor Hundley was living there -- before he got shot dead in his bed, along with his wife on the back stairs to the kitchen. (Whodunnit has never been solved, though it would make a good subject for a short, dinner theater play . . . )

Years later, HH became a slightly pretentious gift store/gallery with a kaleidoscopic array of things for the home, body and homebody. Not to mention dead body . . . See the new Hundley House is dead serious about having more fun in its haunted(?) confines. Every room room is filled with some really classy stuff, including cool vintage (40's, 50s) items in Tootsies showroom on the first floor (like that shown on Mrs. Hundley's pretend cadaver above).
