Take Back the Night takes back the Street

Daily Egyptian: Women of Carbondale will march together to Take Back the Night tonight, with participants meeting at 7 p.m. at the Interfaith Center, then walking along the sidewalk--and for the stretch from Mill to Walnut, in the street-- to the Town Square Pavilion.

Something that never would have happened back in the Founder's day, before there were sidewalks.
