Thor's day
With the battle of Carbondale over (?), the battle of Baghdad looms.
Blowin' in the wind

It was pretty gutsy, I mean gusty, last night, and this morning the building's owners took the sign down.
Should Code Pink Rethink?

Maybe Code Pink central headquarters could come up with different sign messages for members of the local branch of Code Pink for Peace this week. How about "Leave Iraq, Give it Back."
More signs
Is it okay to stand on a street corner holding signs proclaiming any message at all, with signs any size at all? All day, if you wanted? Could someone stand on the SW corner of Cherry and University with a huge sign that proclaimed something commercial, such as "COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE REOPENING SOON AT NEW LOCATION." Could people position themselves on every corner of Carbondale with signs if they wanted to? The answer, apparently is yes, but not with commercial, libelous, or obscene messages.
Lance Jack off-line
A month ago, I promised Council candidate, Lance Jack, after the election was over I'd help him get his home computer "wired" so he can join the collective consciousness of humanity in cyberspace. This is a reminder.
